Hi, I'm Heli! I'm a 21 year old trans woman (she/her only please) looking to make games for a living. To do that, I'm in college working on getting a degree in game design. However, I also have several personal projects, including some very ambitious ones (hi, Cruise Planet!). My hobbies include birdwatching, photography and of course, playing video games.

As for the site, I started working on it in July of 2023, learning HTML and CSS on the side. The immediate idea was to use it as a place to show my projects and pictures from my birding trips. It was then fine-tuned a bit for a college portfolio class in the spring of 2024. As such, a lot of different people come to see this website - friends and family, folks from college, potential employers, and the people I hang out with on the internet. Managing all of that has been a bit of a balancing act, but updating this website has been one of my favorite things I've done for my career.
