Hi, I'm Heli! I'm a 22 year old trans woman (it/she) looking to make games for a living. To do that, I'm in college working on getting a degree in game design. However, I also have several personal projects, including some very ambitious ones (hi, Cruise Planet!). My hobbies include birdwatching, photography and of course, playing video games.

As for the site, I started working on it in July of 2023, learning HTML and CSS on the side. The immediate idea was to use it as a place to show my projects and pictures from my birding trips. It was then fine-tuned a bit for a college portfolio class in the spring of 2024. I have tried to maintain a level of professionalism, especially with things relating to game development like my portfolio, but the vibes are still mostly casual.

This site's purpose is to be a home base for my interests, and a place to share the fruits of my labor with the world, but I also do this because it's been fun maintaining and updating the site. I hope you'll enjoy your time here as much as I do!
